Marrakech – Imlil (1,700 m) – Toubkal Refuge (3,207 m)

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from Marrakech and a scenic drive of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to Imlil, the gateway to Mount Toubkal. After meeting your guide and mule team, begin your ascent through the beautiful Ait Mizane Valley. Pass through the traditional Berber village of Aremd and continue towards the sacred shrine of Sidi Chamharouch, a popular pilgrimage site nestled in the mountains. The trail gradually climbs through spectacular landscapes, following mountain paths and mule tracks towards the upper valleys of the High Atlas Mountains. During winter months, snow may cover parts of the trail as you approach the refuge. Arrive at the Toubkal Refuge (3,207 m) in the afternoon, where you'll enjoy dinner and spend the night preparing for the summit climb. Day 1

Toubkal Refuge – Mount Toubkal Summit (4,167 m) – Imlil – Marrakech

Wake up early for the highlight of your trek: the ascent to the summit of Mount Toubkal. Following a steady mountain trail through the southern cirque, you'll climb towards the highest point in North Africa. Although the route is technically straightforward, the altitude and steep sections make it a rewarding challenge. Upon reaching the summit at 4,167 meters, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking 360-degree views stretching across the High Atlas Mountains, the Marrakech plains, the Anti-Atlas range, and, on clear days, the Sahara Desert. After taking in the incredible scenery and celebrating your achievement, descend back to the refuge for lunch before continuing down to Imlil. Your trek concludes with a transfer back to Marrakech. Your safety is our top priority. All of our glamping sites are located in secure, low-risk natural areas and are regularly inspected for hazards. Each unit includes emergency contact details, basic first-aid supplies, and safety instructions

This trek runs all year-round and can depart at any date of your preference.
We usually have several treks departing each week that you may join if you wish , please get in Touch!!
This trek is available to be booked independently (including transfers from Marrakech) or we can put together a full itinerary and quote to combine your trek with any of Marrakech, Essaouira, The Atlantic Coast and Sahara Desert

The Accommodation AT Toubkal Refuge.
Camping is an option if prefered (june-Octo).
NB : If accommodation is required in the Atlas Mountains either before or after the trek, we can always book you at our Guesthouse Dar Adrar in Imlil or in  Eco-loge in Ouirgane

Most of those equipment can be rented locally.

  • Booking your trek with us is a straightforward process. Follow the steps below to secure your reservation:

    1. Find the trek you are interested in on our website, and then contact us via email to discuss your trek and check availability.

    2. Once we have finalized the details of your trek, including the duration, route, and number of people, we will make a provisional booking, providing you with the confirmed dates and cost.

    3. To confirm your booking, we kindly ask for a 20% deposit. You can conveniently make this payment online via bank transfer in Euros, pounds sterling, or US dollars.

    4. The remaining balance is payable in cash upon your arrival in Morocco, at the beginning of the trek. We accept payments in Euros, pounds sterling, or US dollars.

    NB: If you are unable to carry a large amount of cash, we offer an alternative option. You can pay the remaining balance online via bank transfer a few days before your departure. This way, you can have peace of mind knowing that your payment is taken care of beforehand.
