Day 1 - Arrival in Marrakech

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, you'll be welcomed by our team and transferred to your traditional riad. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the vibrant streets, souks, and cafés of Marrakech before your trekking adventure begins.

Day 2 - Marrakech → Imlil → Tacheddirt

After breakfast, drive to Imlil, the gateway to the High Atlas Mountains. Meet your guide and mule team before beginning your first day of trekking. Cross the beautiful Tizi n'Tamatert Pass (2,279 m) and descend into the peaceful village of Tacheddirt.

Day 3 - Tacheddirt → Azib Likemt

Today's trek leads across remote valleys toward the impressive Tizi Likemt Pass (3,555 m), offering magnificent views over the Toubkal Massif. Descend to Azib Likemt, where you'll camp surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery.

Day 4 - Azib Likemt → Amsouzert

Continue through one of the most beautiful sections of the circuit, crossing Tizi n'Ououraine Pass (3,120 m). Arrive in the authentic Berber village of Amsouzert, where you'll spend the night in a welcoming local guesthouse.

Day 5 - Amsouzert → Ifni Lake

Leave Amsouzert behind and trek toward the spectacular Ifni Lake, the only natural lake in the Toubkal Massif. Spend the afternoon relaxing beside the turquoise waters before camping in this peaceful mountain setting.

Day 6 - Ifni Lake → Toubkal Refuge

Climb steadily to Tizi n'Ouanoums Pass (3,664 m), enjoying incredible mountain scenery before descending to the famous Toubkal Refuge.

Day 7 - Summit Mount Toubkal → Imlil → Marrakech

Begin before sunrise to climb Mount Toubkal (4,167 m), the highest mountain in North Africa. After celebrating at the summit and enjoying spectacular panoramic views, descend through the villages of Sidi Chamharouch and Aremd before reaching Imlil. Transfer back to Marrakech for a well-deserved evening of relaxation.

Day 8 - Departure

After breakfast, enjoy some free time depending on your flight schedule before we transfer you to Marrakech Menara Airport. Your unforgettable Atlas Mountains adventure comes to an end, taking home memories of one of Morocco's greatest trekking experiences.

Your safety is our top priority. All of our glamping sites are located in secure, low-risk natural areas and are regularly inspected for hazards. Each unit includes emergency contact details, basic first-aid supplies, and safety instructions

This trek runs From Mat To October and can depart at any date of your preference.
We usually have several treks departing each week that you may join if you wish , please get in Touch!!
This trek is available to be booked independently (including transfers from Marrakech) or we can put together a full itinerary and quote to combine your trek with any of Marrakech, Essaouira, The Atlantic Coast and Sahara Desert

The Accommodation will be in a simple berber Gites And Toubkal Refuge and Campings.

  • Good walking boots and socks / good trainers for valley treks

  • Lightweight waterproof over-trousers / rain-pants
  • Water bottle or camel back (recommended)
  • Soft-sided bag (50-80 litres)

  • Torch and batteries
  • Towel & all personal toiletries

Most of those equipment can be rented locally from our equipment shop in Imlil:

  2.  Sleeping bags : 2.5 €/day
  3.  Rain Jackets : 3 €/day
  4.  Walking Poles : 3 €/day/pair   
  5.  Back packs : 3€/day
  • Find the trek you are interested in then contact us via E-mail to discuss your trek and check availability. Once the details of your trek (duration, route and number of people) have been agreed, we will make a provisional booking, giving the dates and cost.
    To confirm your booking we ask you to pay a 20% deposit. This can be in Euros, pounds sterling or US dollars  online via bank account. The balance is paid in Morocco by cash – again in Euros, sterling or dollars – at the beginning of the trek.
    NB: if you can’t carry cash, you can always pay again the balance online by bank few days before departure.
